10 YEARS STRONG
The Pembroke Pines Optimist Club joined the American Youth Football League in 1997. In 2007 PPO is proud to say they rank #1 in the AYFL power ranking, and will continue to bring youth football to the highest level in the city of Pembroke Pines. Since 2003 PPO has had over 280 park wins, fourteen Super Bowl teams, three Orange Bowl Youth Football League teams in 2004. Also in 2004 PPO set an AYFL record 74 wins, and had three teams ranked in the top ten out over over 400 teams in the Orange Bowl Youth Football League. PPO has turned their program into a youth football dynasty. With a high level of coaching, sponsors, great players and parents PPO Bengals is a great place to learn disciple and the game of football.
